I too am ready for autumn. Here in the far north the temperature is 30 degrees, but humidity in the high eighties! Shouldnt be too much longer though, I am counting the days.
And here we are burried under record snows and cold freezes! ha! Always willing to be in the other [extreme's] shoes, as long as it lets us out of our current misery! HA! In six months, we'll still be wantin' to trade; too bad we can't find and keep the extremes and make balances!
Well, you know what? Even though I'm looking out on drizzle and cloud as I sit here typing, and the foulest February day imaginable, I still wouldn't want 40C!

I love our winters. They are damp & cold, but there is a beauty in them called rain, I wouldn't swap that for all the tea in China:P

40 is cool, most days it is around mid 40's here in summer, last year we had 3 49C days!
