Technically, although you won't find this in any bookshop lol. Blogger has the ability to make books from your blog and that's precisely what I have done.
From my perspective, in the years to come, the ease in which we access the internet today may not be there tomorrow, or the costs may be prohibitive. Either way, I wanted something I could leave to my children with all our gathered wisdoms.
This book has all I have learnt from you and others and all our family practices going back some generations. No matter what the kids come across hopefully there will be some ideas in here about how to manage it.
How to make rocket stoves, how to dehydrate, can, how to grow and when to grow veggies in our region, herbal remedies tried and true, recipes, making window heaters, soaps from plants, all that and more can only help....or, if we are all wrong...amuse them LOL!
The books aren't expensive, I chose to print 12 months in each book. The next one should arrive in a few days:) If you like the idea of having something quite unique to hand down to your children, you can find out how to do it HERE

How neat.
You're famous!
You're book looks lovely and it's a wonderful idea.
It's probably just as well that I don't have kids. I'd be obliged to make a book up and torture them by making them read it ;-)
Where can I buy one from you?
Molly, that's really neat. I'm thinking something like this would be a nice gift to my folks, who don't do computers.
Unfortunately it doesnt' like my OS! (Ubuntu Linux). Price seems reasonable so I may look into this to see what I can do.
Great idea, thanks for sharing it Molly.
I agree Robin, it is a fun idea, yet so practical!
LOL Nev, hardly, but a great idea for a unique hand me down to my children
Dixie, it was around $100 per book, my information is not worth that much, you get it all free on my blog. It is not from a publishing house, just from blogspot themselves as a 1 off.
Leigh, I thought so too. Your folks would love it I am sure!
Wow! that is soooo cool! May have to look into that myself.
But yeah, wish I could buy one of yours. I mean, I can (and do) print off some of your posts but a book would be great.
Thanks ER, it is neat, glad you find some info here of use:)
Lovely!
Your book looks good.
or some reason, the cover reminds me of Duane Elgin's Voluntary Simplicity :-)
That looks great! I took all of my homeschooling posts last year, copied them into word, manipulated them a bit, printed it out and got it bound at Officeworks - Voila - our homeschooling portfolio for the year :)
It probably took me a few hours but it was a cheaper option. Doesn't look as snazzy as yours though!
Daharja, thanks, its the only set up allowed by blogspot for the front cover, I didnt get a design choice, however I did look the book up, sounds interesting, another one to order, thanks lol
Kez, this is the only place I could find to do something like this, yours sounds just as good to me!
Hey Molly,
Long time no see - I dropped in tonight to see what you've been up up to and to crone's as well. What's happened to Crone's blog? Has the address changed? It didn't come up for me, and when I tried it out my virus protection blocked a 'malicious entry something or other from her blog address. Go figure?
You've been busy I see as usual - me too, too much to get time to blog. Hopefully some pics of the new garden I'm working on soon.
Hugs to you,
Nat :)
Hey Nat, so good to see you around!, Yes, L has gone back to her old site, you can find it here:

Hope we all catch up soon again!
Hugs
This is a fantastic idea. I'm also planning to do this for my blog at the one year mark.
