only then will you discover.......
.......you cannot eat money........
It is time.......time to move to a simpler life where we care about cause and effect, where we take time to smell the roses and where what we do every day matters, for our planet and our fellow man.

I have this saying (or very similar) on an old wooden poster at my house. I have had it for about 26 years now. I read it nearly every day as it is large as life on my toilet wall. Everyone who visits reads it. Most ignore it. Some comment and that leads to a good discussion.

Very much enjoy your posts. I always like to know what's growing "down under". We are in subtropical gulf coast of Florida so far the only thing I haven't totaly killed is my basil and rosemary. Hopefully I will be able to get a decent winter garden going.
I can't help but dwell on the fact that if we'd all lived like this (closer to the land and less dependent on so-called progress), then we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place.
